When I was thirteen years old, my biggest problem was my mom making me style my hair for school. My life revolved around grades and excitement for my upcoming high school years. Never in my life could I imagine if the story ended there.

A story gone wrong. An innocence taken. A life lost.

Tristyn Bailey’s life was taken tragically on night.  She was a thirteen-year-old girl that was murdered by her peer.

As our country begins debates over the boy’s future, we must remember to stay strong against ideas that go against our own. Stand strong for your thoughts. Stay strong in your opinions.

Take this a reminder to teach your children to respect, to love, to be gentle with other people. Take this as a reminder to yourself to respect, to love, to be gentle with other people. Speak out against wrongdoings in your life. We are stronger together. Do not lower your voice for the evilness of the world.

My most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Tristyn Bailey. She was lost too young and will never be forgotten.
